Our reservations for this trip were made just before the events of
9/11 rocked the world. In spite of the fact that tourists were now staying away from
Florida attractions, we decided to not change our plans. I'm glad because the park
was virtually empty compared to a normal October day, the weather was perfect, and we had
a great time. The pictures are mostly self-explanatory so we won't say any more
here. If you ever get a chance, you should visit Universal Orlando, but stay away
from the "Back to the Future" ride!
Many of the indoor attractions did not allow photography. Those that did usually included
rides which included a LOT of water, so the staff recommended that cameras stay covered.
As a result, there are not many decent indoor pictures. The following are the best
of the photos from our Universal vacation.
