Sights seen during our Las Vegas House Hunting Trip

March 27th and 28th, 2003 (Thursday and Friday) were spent looking at houses in various Las Vegas neighborhoods to decide if we wanted to permanently relocate to the city. Click here if you would like to see pictures and descriptions of the houses we saw. Saturday we took a short driving tour north to Mt. Charleston (the highest mountain in Nevada), followed by a walking tour along the Las Vegas Strip. The following pictures were all taken that Saturday ~ enjoy!

The Luxor after dark. This picture did not come out very well since I did not have a tripod. Note that this beam of light is visible to shuttles in earth orbit!	Gas at that time was 30¢ a gallon more than the rest of the nation.!	Our rental car.	Joshua tree in the desert ~ these only grow at 3,000 to 3,500 feet above sea level.

Only in Las Vegas could you photograph Camelot, the Statue of Liberty, and the Eiffel Tower all at the same time!	Typical sight on the Las Vegas Strip.		This aquatic display was in the Mandalay Bay hotel.
This is the only fish picture which came out good enough to save.	The Paris Las Vegas hotel.
