Maui, Hawaii
August 29 ~ September 5, 2009

Hello, this is Bonnie Mullin at the keyboard.  Originally Bill and I had both planned on vacationing in Maui together.  But within the last year before the trip Bill has had four small melanomas removed and was advised by the doctor that a vacation to any sunny location was not smart!  Since part of the trip was intended to be a "mini-reunion" with a few of my relatives, I made the trip without him.  :(

Maui is 48 miles long and 26 miles across at its widest and its terrain varies from lush rain forests to stark desolate volcano lava rock.  Because of this, there were many opportunities to take pictures.  The photos below represent what I thought were the best scenes the island had to offer in the short time I was there.

All of the photographs were taken by yours truly!  :)  Picture preparation and web page creation were done by Bill and I together.  The following 156 photographs are the best of the 371 pictures that I took with my new digital camera . . . enjoy!
