Bonnie and I moved to Florida in July, 1998. Soon after our
arrival, I purchased my first
digital camera and started experimenting. The first camera didn't quite fill my
needs, so I listed it on eBay to be auctioned and purchased another. This one also
wasn't quite right, so off it went to eBay and I purchased a third
camera. This one worked wonderfully and was a keeper! For you camera buffs, it
was an
Olympus E-100RS, which listed for $1,800, but I purchased it for a third
of this amount at an Internet store. Although the pixel rating was only 1.5 MB, the
picture quality was more than adequate as you'll see as you click on our links.
In July, 2005, in order to get all the new "bells &
whistles" the
Olympus camera was replaced with a Sony DSC-H1 ~ digital of
course. Then in October, 2008 the Sony went belly-up and was replaced
with an Olympus SP-565UZ.

We have spent the last few years taking "mini"
vacations around Florida and Arizona. We
hope to continue this tradition in the years to come and explore a new part of
the state during each adventure. Sit back, relax and share with us the memories we have created.
Quotes from my "Friendship Calendar", which express my thoughts and hopes for all of us:
• Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters. It isn't the big
pleasures that count the most; it's making a great deal out of the little ones.
• Memories, important yesterdays, were once today's. Treasure and notice today.
• Happiness is found along the way, not at the end of the road.
• Recall it as often as you wish, a happy memory never wears out.
• Favorite people, favorite places, favorite memories of the past...these are the joys of a
lifetime...these are the things that last.
